Feel first
Start from the emotion in the track, not the footage. Mood and pacing drive every choice.
About
I'm NOCT, a Nepal-based video editor and visual artist working primarily in Adobe After Effects. My work sits at the intersection of music, rhythm, atmosphere, and cinematic storytelling — visuals that feel connected to the sound rather than simply placed on top of it.
Whether it's a music video edit, a visualizer, a cinematic sequence, or an artist promo, I focus on mood, pacing, typography, and visual detail to create something that feels immersive and memorable.
I'm especially interested in working with musicians, rappers, singers, producers, and independent artists who want thoughtful visuals that support their music and identity. If that's you, let's talk.
A snapshot of the kind of work I make.

NOCT — Self-employed
Building a portfolio of music-driven visual work — music video edits, visualizers, lyric visuals, cinematic sequences, and artist promo content, all cut primarily in Adobe After Effects.

Selected creative work
Developed cinematic edits with a strong focus on mood, visual flow, and emotional tone — combining rhythm, typography, and effects so the visuals feel connected to the track rather than placed on top of it.

Concept & experimental work
Produced creative visual pieces inspired by Thangka art, symbolism, and atmospheric storytelling — exploring identity, mood, and meaning through texture and motion.
Four things I bring to every cut.
Start from the emotion in the track, not the footage. Mood and pacing drive every choice.
Cuts that breathe with the music. Timing, breath, and silence are part of the design.
Lighting, colour, texture, and motion working together to build a world the listener can step into.
Visuals should feel like the artist, not like a template. The story belongs to the music.
